We don dey hear now say Spanish giant, Barcelona fit miss next season UCL after prosecutors sue the club for corruption, say them pay £7.4 million to take bribe referees from 2001 to 2018.

We report last month say between 2016 and 2018, Barcelona pay €1.4 million to one company, Dasnil 95. And as e turn out, the owner of that company na the former Vice President of  Spain referee committee, Jose Maria Enriquez Negreira.

But now we don dey hear now say the money wey Barca pay and the number of years wey them pay am even pass like that because according to investigators, na £7.4 million naim Barcelona pay from 2001 to 2018.

And although Barcelona oga them explain say the reason why them pay that money na make the refs dey give them technical report and analysis, investigators believe say Barca pay that money to refs to help them do ojoro and influence matches.

Right now, the prosecutors don sue Barcelona to court for corruption, breach of trust and mago-mago business records. Apart from the club, two of their former presidents, oga Josep Maria Bartomeu and Sandro Rosell also get case to answer.

And Uefa don ask Spanish Football Federation to dey update them with information unto how the case dey go so that them self go know how to punish Barcelona if court find them guilty of bribing referee to do ojoro for them.
