All 26 players of Nigeria U17 AFCON team don pass MRI test for Algeria

My people diswan na very good news as we don hear now say all the 26 players wey Naija carry join Golden Eaglets to go play for the U17 AFCON don pass the mandatory MRI test wey the Confederation of African Football (CAF) arrange for dem.

As e be now, all the players don qualify to play for the competition. Also, nobody fit accuse Naija of over age and age cheating because as you can see, the boys clean like stainless sotay many people dey call dem the youngest U17 wey Naija don ever arrange.

Na yesterday we report say CAF don order mandatory MRI testing for all the players wey dey come for dat U17 AFCON. This na based on the amendment of the rules of the competition wey the Youth Organizing and Medical Organizing Committee recommend.

According to the amended regulation, any country wey up to 3 of dem players fail the MRI test go still participate for the competition but those 3 players go chop disqualification. On top of that, the country no fit replace those 3 players.

But if village people come dey follow the country make up to 4 of dem players go fail the test, then CAF no go get any choice but to disqualify the full team from the U17 AFCON.

Up to 32 Cameroon U17 players fail MRI test

African countries really serious about ending this age cheating matter wey make many of dem like Nigeria don begin run the testing from National level. For Cameroon, 32 of dem U17 players fail MRI test wey dem FA presido, Samuel Eto’o arrange for dem.

The 2023 U17 AFCON go kick off on Saturday when hosts, Algeria take on Somalia. Nigeria go play dem first match on Sunday when dem face Zambia for their Group B opener. Dem go also face South Africa and Morocco for the group.
