We don dey hear now say Remo Stars of Ogun State don chop fine on 1.25 million naira after one of their oga kpatakpata attack referee begin kpokpo the ref during their Nigerian Professional Football League match against Gombe United wey shele on Sunday for Ikenne.

This na according to the Interim Management Committee (IMC) of the NPFL. On top the fine wey Remo Stars chop, the IMC also deduct 3 points from their total points and another 3 goals to make sure say their goal difference sef reduce. Dem also ban Mr Adam from all NPFL activities till the end of this season.

According to wetin happen, na just before half time when the two clubs still dey play 0-0 draw naim Remo Stars General Manager, Mr. Ekene Adams rush enter pitch, catch the referee, oga Ndubuisi Ukah, begin kpokpo the man like Anthony Joshua.

To breakdown the fine wey the club chop, dem go start by paying N250,000 to the referee as compensation. Then dem go pay N500,000 fine for breaking Rule B8.21 wey talk say every club must adequately secure match officials before, during and after the match.

The club go also pay N500,000 fine for breaching Rule B13.21 wey say no club must allow any katakata or wotorwotor wey go lead to the stoppage or cancelation of a league match.

Finally, dem say the club must make sure say that their General Manager, Mr Adam go face criminal trial for court for assault. Dem must make sure say the case go well or else problem go dey.

Remo Stars get 48 hours to accept the judgement or else dem go face disciplinary panel. Dem also get 7 days to pay all the fines and compensation.
