The Confederation of African Football, CAF, don ready to unveil the African Super League wey go be one big ogbonge competition just like the European Super League wey later cast for Europe.

According to wetin we hear, this African Super League mo go be shere-shere competition because na up to 100 million dollars naim CAF go share to the different clubs wey go join body take run the matter.

Na 24 clubs all together go dey play for the African Super League and those 24 clubs go come from 16 African countries. Some of those countries go produce at most 3 clubs, while some go produce 2 or 1, as the case may be.

CAF presido, oga Patrice Motsepe say the African Super League go dey hammer up to $200m every blessed year

According to the presido of CAF, oga Patrice Motsepe, the idea behind the Super League na to help African clubs and even the different leagues to make better money wey dem go take dey take care of demsef and dem players so dat dem no go dey japa anyhow even go country like Bangladesh.

According to the presido, the African Super League fit dey make up to 200 million dollars every year on top sponsorship rights and other kind of money. Out of dis money, all the 54 football association inside Africa go dey collect 1 million each every year.

The winner of the Super League go collect 11.6m dollars wey pass the 2.5 million wey winner of CAF Champions League dey collect. Every club wey follow play the competition go also collect different different amount of money.

We also hear say CAF no plan to call this competition “Super League” so dat e no go be like the European Super League. Instead CAF plan to call am the African Football League. The competition go start next year August.
